OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

What are the amplitude and the midline?

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

It's B right?

OpenStudy (freckles):

can you tell me what is the highest y value? can you also tell me what the lowest y value is ?

OpenStudy (freckles):

\[\text{ midline is given by } y=\frac{max+min}{2}\] then to find the amp find either tell me how far max is from the midline or how far min is from the midline

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Highest y value is 3 Lowest y value is -1

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Oh the answer has to be A then, right?

OpenStudy (freckles):

so midline is y=(3+(-1))/2 which is y=1 so how far is the max=3 from y=1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks I'm working on something like this too

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

2?

OpenStudy (freckles):

yep so B was right

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Oh okay thanks :)

OpenStudy (freckles):

great job
