Nnesha (nnesha):

question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the function operations?

Nnesha (nnesha):

do you have question or ANY question as an example ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No.

Nnesha (nnesha):

alright let f(x) =3x+2 and g(x)=4x btw there are different types of question like fog addition or subtraction f(x)+g(x) meaning add both function \[(3x+2)+(4x)\] and then combine like terms

Nnesha (nnesha):

f(x)-g(x) subtract \[(3x+2)-(4x)\] for this one you should distribute 2nd parentheses by negative one and then combine like terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is fog addition???

Nnesha (nnesha):

fog where you have to substitute all x in f(x) function for g(x) value like \[\large\rm fog-> f(g(x)) ---> f(4x)=3(4x)+2\]

Oh okay!
