A toy rocket was launched from the ground. The function f(x) = -16x2 + 192x shows the height of the rocket f(x), in feet, from the ground at time x seconds. What is the axis of symmetry of the graph of f(x), and what does it represent?
x = 12; it takes 12 seconds to reach the maximum height and 12 seconds to fall back to the ground x = 12; it takes 12 seconds to reach the maximum height and 24 seconds to fall back to the ground x = 6; it takes 6 seconds to reach the maximum height and 6 seconds to fall back to the ground x = 6; it takes 6 seconds to reach the maximum height and 3 seconds to fall back to the gro

Based on the graph below, what are the solutions to the equation f(x) = g(x)? graph of function f of x equals 3 times x minus 1. Graph of function g of x equals x cubed minus 3 times x squared minus 4 times x plus 12 x = -2.4, 1.4, 3.9 x = -2.4, 0.25, 1.4 x = -2, 2, 3 x = -2, 1, 3

1) To find the axis of symmetry you have to use the equation: \[x= -b \div2a\] looking at your equation f(x)=-162x^2+192x -162 is a and 192 is b x=-(-162)/2(192)
For the graph, you have to find the three points where your f(x) and g(x) intersects and those will be their solutions.
