hey guys, I just have a quick question. I'm solving polynomial equations like 15x^3-119x^2-10x+16=0. apparently u can cheat on the calculator and find that a factor is (x-8). How do I do this on my calculator?

i also have thAT QUESTION I WILLMEDAL FOR HELP OR THE ANSWER

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know what the answer is. (x-8)(3x-1)(5x+2)

I just don't get how to find the x-8 faster. Once you get that u box the 8 up as the divisor. Then with the leftovers, simply factor like a normal quadratic.
