OpenStudy (anonymous):

but my brain is fried and i need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use quadratic formula to get the solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its needs quadratic equation, btw how do i award medals?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you do it for me :)

OpenStudy (misty1212):

press the button!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

best response gives the medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x=\frac{ -4\pm \sqrt{4^2-4*1*5} }{ 2*1 }\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

since \(4\) is even, it is probably easier to complete the square then you don't have to muck around with a denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got x=-2 +- -4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually plus minus 2i
