SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!! . Find a quadratic model for the set of values: (-2, -20), (0, -4), (4, -20). Show your work.

OpenStudy (rajat97):

its easy assume the quadratic equation to be y=ax^2 + bx + c now put the values of the co-ordinates in the place of x and y there are three co-ordinates so, you'll get three equations you have three variables, a, b and c solve the three equations for three variables and voila! you get the quadratic equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So which of the points are a, b and c?

OpenStudy (rajat97):

a,b and c are not points they are the variables the points are x and y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh okay, thank you :D

OpenStudy (rajat97):

you're welcome but did you really get it??

OpenStudy (rajat97):

well thanks for the medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (rajat97):

okay i'll get it to you!

OpenStudy (rajat97):
