which would affect the pace of a story? -connotation diction -short,choppy sentences -shifting points of view -use of first person narrator

OpenStudy (jack1):

hi @melissa1253 pace is the speed or candence or flow of a tale if you use shifting points of view... it may or may not change the pace first person narration usually slows down the pace, as the narrator explains his point of view or what he sees/feels in detail short choppy sentences allows for many different things to happen in a short amount of words... so definately increases the pace as for connotation, can u look it up and tell me if it increases or has no effect on the pace?
