The first one. Write it out as (a^2/b^5)x(a^2/b^5)x(...) thereforeyou would do the normal addition rule of the exponents if you multiplying, so you add the exp. therefore when you have a sum like this, the quickest rule is to times within the bracket eg (a/b)^3 = a^3/b^3
