I need help with explaining in detail what advantages the Europeans possessed against the natives.

If you've read the book guns germs and steel, the Europeans because of animal domestication, were immune to many diseases that the natives weren't exposed to. So when they arrived the natives died as a result of their lack of immunity to these diseases. This aspect was more inadvertent, but aided the Europeans in their conquests. Other advantages of course would be technological, ie guns etc.
