HELP WILL MEDAL AND FAN Direct answers pls! If a translation maps point (3, 2) to (4, 5); or T: (3, 2) (4, 5), then what is the image of the point (0, 0)? (4, 5) (-1, -3) (1, 3) A transformation T : (x, y) (x + 3, y + 1). The image of B(4, 1) is (1, 0) (7, 2) (-1, 0) A transformation T: (x, y) (x - 5, y + 3). The image of A(2, -1) is (3, 2) (-3, 2) (-3, -2)

OpenStudy (welshfella):

look for a pattern. How do you get from x = 3 yo x = 4 and y= 2 to y= 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm you add 1 to x and 3 to y?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

right - now do the same to the point (0.0) and you have your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thats still confusing me for some reason

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it A?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no its simple really add 1 to the x value and 3 to the y (0 + 1 , 0 +3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh i see

OpenStudy (welshfella):

I think you mean C Thers no D. (1,3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it the same for the other 2? lol ya

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok hold on let me see if i can get them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the third one is A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait the second one is B i get it now!!!!!

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no its (2 - 5, -1 + 3)

OpenStudy (welshfella):

B is right for the second question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 3,-2

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes

OpenStudy (welshfella):

ooopps no

OpenStudy (welshfella):

2 - 5 = -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay thank you.. I get it now!!

OpenStudy (welshfella):

-1 + 3 = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):
