If a rectangular prisom has a surface area of 160 and is up factored by 10 what is the surface area ??? I don't know what up factor means :(

I think Up Factored means you increase it times 10 instead of decreasing it by 10.

I used a calculator and entered in any random numbers for L, W, and H that came out to 160. I then multiplied each of them by 10 and came up with 16000. Do not take me by my word, I am not entirely sure.

With Length: 5.5
        Height: 5
        Width: 5
You get a Surface area of 160. When I multiplied each of those by 10, I got a surface area of 16000. I am not entirely sure this is the answer. Is this multiple choice?

I think it is the right answer. If this is Geometry, then that is what I was taught. If you aren't sure with my answer (to be honest, I'm not either) then you could probably find help on your subject on kahnacademy.com
