What did the Greeks do to counteract the fact that the columns of their buildings did not appear to have uniform width from top to bottom? They made the columns bulge slightly in the middle. They made the columns wider at the top and base. They carved lines down the length of the columns. They made the tops and bases of the columns more elaborate.
