OpenStudy (annmeez):

Hey guys! can you tell me how you define leadership? It's for school, i need to survey other people's answers :D Please answer!!

pooja195 (pooja195):

Hi there welcome to openstudy! To me leadership is motivating people and being their friend and helping them, it also means to be able to guide a group of people without force the group would want to do something if they enjoy it therefore a leader has to be someone that can get people interested a good leader always communicates with his/her group

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

I think a super important part of leadership is knowing what decisions are right or wrong, and being able to let their group of people help them choose when needed. They are independent, but will go to others as needed. As Pooja said, they will guide them and they will guide them how the fully feel is best. A good leader is motivated and encouraging and have an influence on others. They are the person who stands out in a group.

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

Leadership is understanding, compensation, flexibility, but strict enough to get the job done. There's more to it then that but I'm short on time

I agree with both Pooja and Horsegirl on this, well defined! As for how I personally see it... ~Leader: Usually one individual that a group looks up to for support and a direction to be led to. It's always a personal choice and also serves others' own interests as well. Many people and groups with similar motives usually look for confident leaders that know what they are doing and have a clear plan that has been planned out (e.g. goals). They have to be good at words and have to gain trust. The leader must also be good with carrying out his/her voice. ~Leadership (in a nutshell): The act of being a trusted leader to a group and personally cares for the well-being of other individuals, and the leader should be able to give confident guidance as needed.

and lol Jay put his comment as I was typing mine... :P
