I'm about to go insane because I don't understand the answer to the following problem: Find the first value of t after t=0 where v(t)=10 sin(1000 * pi * t + 30) reaches its peak value. Note: degrees not radians. I arrive at 60/(1000*pi) but they get approx: 0.333*10^-3. Am I overly tired or are they wrong?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm the first value of "t"? after t=0?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

what does that mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first peak in the right half plane I assume is what they mean.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm dunno that one

Calc or pre-calc? If you know about derivatives, this shouldn't be too difficult. The pre-calc approach isn't too bad, though.
