is this a good answer? Similarity 1. both depend on inheritance and environment. 2. both include expressed genes. 3. both can be beneficial , harmful , or neutral. Difference 1. genotype can be inherited while phenotype can not. 2. genotype includes expressed genes and non-expressed genes while phenotype includes expressed genes only. 3. genotype determined by genotyping while phenotype is determined by observing the organism ( looking at the organism ).
