MATH HELP! http://prntscr.com/84v3lw http://prntscr.com/84v3rv
@UsukiDoll
for this http://prntscr.com/84v3lw hint: dividing both sides by a number is the last step when solving these equations for this http://prntscr.com/84v3rv you have to distribute the 3 for the parenthesis and combine like terms.
so is the answer for the first question combine like terms and divide both sides by 8?
and is the answer to the second one B?
I'll check in a bit... one sec. brb
ok tyt
I'll answer the second one first \[3(2x+10) - 10x=26\] \[6x+30 - 10x=26\] \[6x- 10x+30=26\] \[-4x+30=26\] yes B is correct
for A. combining like terms is the first step \[3x+4=-5x-3+15\] \[3x+4=-5x+12\] \[3x+5x=12-4\] \[8x=8\] dividing x by both sides is the last step . Our x should be 1 (but the question doesn't ask to solve )
