im not asking for the answer, i just wanted to know how to do it . i think i know but im not sure

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

@Vocaloid Should I try?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

go for it, you don't need my permission

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lmao, do i have to just substitute each point and whichever one gives the right answer is the correct one ?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

that's one way to do it, but... there might be an easier way since it gives you two inequalities and a graph, try graphing 2x + y ≤ 10 2x - 4y < 8 and take all the points that fall within the solution set

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

first of all you have to put random points and see what the line is (graph) 2x+y=10 (let) see, 5,0 and 0,10 satisfies

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

now draw a line between these two points

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

now when it is <=10 that means it is the shaded portion towards the origin from the line

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

yellow potion is the shaded potion, thats the way

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

@Vocaloid could you verify me for the first question?

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

do the second in a similar way.....@bullkidd Are you getting it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeeeeeeeeeeep thank youuu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and who should i give a medal to , lol

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

Its your wish..... @bullkidd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks m8

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

No problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first draw the line ax+by=c by finding any two points on the line if \[c \neq 0\] then put x=0,y=0 in the given equation to see if the origin lies in the region if the equality is true ,origin lies in the region if false origin does not lie in the region. if c=0, then put x=1 or any other integer and y=0 and repeat the same.
