okay so you have to reduce the fractions to the lowest terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it means that there is no number, except for 1, that can be divided evenly into both the numerator and the denominator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it means simplifying it, first step is to find the largest number that divides both the numerator and the denominater

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here for example you have there ten twentieths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 10 }{ 20 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you divide both of them by 10 you will simplify them to where they cant be simplified any more.. so what do you think ten twentieths is after you simplifiy it ?
