Data question

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

@welshfella whats discrete and continus

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

I dont know what discrete is

OpenStudy (phi):

discrete means the measurement comes in "chunks" rather than "continuous" it can be a vague idea. but compare a digital clock and a clock with a second hand. we see the seconds tick off 1,2,3 on the digital clock (there is no such thing as 1.5 seconds, at least not on the clock's face) on the other hand, as a second hand sweeps along, we can see it between two seconds and read off 1.5 seconds (or any number in theory)

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

so the first one would be B and the second one would be D and the third would be A

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

@hartnn

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

I dont see how discrete would be any of them
