If you roll two five-sided dice, what is the probability the product of the two dice is an even number ? Solve using a outcome chart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@welshfella can you help me please ?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

for each possible value 5 on first dice there s 5 possible values on second one. thats a total of 25 outcomes

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Now you have to list the outcomes whose product is even Dice 1 Dice 2 Product 1 2 2 1 4 1 2 2 4 2 3 6 2 4 8 2 5 10

OpenStudy (welshfella):

complete that list and add the total of lines you required probability will be this total / 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@welshfella there is a probability 6/25 the product would be a even number ?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

No i wanted you to finish the list next one would be 3 and 4 product 12
