Determine which word problem represents the given algebraic expression. 925(1+r4)exponent 4t Yvette got a new job that pays $4 per time, t . If her first paycheck is $925, find the total earnings at a tax rate, r . Monica started a bank account with the principle amount of $925 . Find the balance of Monica's account with rate, r , for t years, that will be compounded 4 times a year. Antonio bought a motorcycle priced at $925 . Find the total cost of the motorcycle with the tax represented as (1+r4)4t , where r is the tax rate and t is the money the clerk received as a tip. Jason
drove 925 miles in 4 days. If Jason drove at a rate r , calculate the time t , that Jason drove each day. @welshfella

it looks like the compound interest formula to me that's providing its r/4
so then what would be the answer @campbell_st
well to me the compound interest formula with 4 compounding periods is \[A= P(a + r \div 4)^{4t}\] where P is the initial investment r is the interest rate as a decimal... dividing r by 4 adjusts the interest rate to accommodate 4 compounding periods. and t is the time in year.. so since there are 4 compounding periods it becomes 4t
so would the answer be c @campbell_st
I think its the Monica statement
are you sure @campbell_st
I'm really not sure...as I asked if the equation has r/4 rather than r4, to which you didn't reply... So I'd say mine is an educated guess
ok i got it thank you
