The phase in which a cell spends most of its time is telophase. metaphase. interphase. prophase. A simple organism that has to compete for living space and food would have a greater chance of survival in a stable environment if they reproduced asexually. sexually. once per year. through meiosis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the first one Interphase is longest phase (90% of the cell cycle), divided into three sub-phases(G1,S, and G2). Only during the S phase does the cell replicate its DNA for the next cell division. Interphase lasts about 23 hours. But keep in mind a cell can go into G0 phase which keeps the cell from dividing. However, mitosis lasts about one hour in human cells. Prophase(chromatin forms into the visible chromosomes, this takes about 15 minutes). Prometaphase(nuclear envelope dissolves, kinetochore microtubles are seen attached to the centromeres on each chromosome, lasts about 15 minutes). Metaphase( this is the longest stage, 20 minutes, when the chromosomes are lined up in the center of the cell) Anaphase( last probably three minutes tops, this is when the chromosomes split and become daughter chromosomes). Telophase and Cytokinesis( Two sets of chromosomes on each side of the cell form their own nuclei and at the same time the cytoplasm of the cell cleaves into two daughter cells. this last less than ten minutes.)

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

second one is either a sexual or sexual

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait, so whats the first answer? @SyedMohammed98

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

interphase :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

interphase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and second?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90 percent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

second i think is asexual because they reproduce faster but it has to be a barely changing environment, but in the question it says just that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"stable" they say

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

i think its Asexually :) as they are simple organisms ans the environment is stable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i have a couple more if you dont mind :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dominant traits are always expressed when a ______ gene is present recessive dominant prime strong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dude what do you think?

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

Dominant gene ..aka the capital letter one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay #1 prime and "strong" genes don't exist. And #2 why would it be recessive?

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it gives the answer away in the title!

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

lol yeh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Scientists use this method to create plants that have higher nutritional values. Natural Selection Genetic Engineering Gene Manipulation Survival of the Fittest

gtg pal

bye :(
