168=-84n show work original answer I got was -14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only 168=-84n, As "n" to be the sole variable, yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I need to find what n is but I somehow got -14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, you see. 84 goes into 168, perfectly 2x, yes. Negative x negative = positive. -2 x -84 = 168 Proving n to be, "-2" I'm not sure how you got -14, because -14 x -84 is beyond 168 by 12x the amount.
