Which of the following allowed the Roman Empire strive in glory of their folk tales?

A. Remus and Romulus
B. The Battle of Carthage
C. The early battles of conquering Italy
D. The Roman God mythologys'

I think it's A because the roman empire was based off that's story, but D I also think is a good answer because they built large shrines and make it a ritual to give food on certain days. Help please?

All of them, A is a children tale of city birth, B and C were heavily present in the Aeneid and B itself in many other works, while D was of course omnipresent in culture, even though to a lesser degree than in ancient Greece. If I had to choose one answer I would chose B, since it's easiest one to prove.
