what goes into 97 and 250 evenly

if you learn the prime numbers up to 100 (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prime_numbers#The_first_500_prime_numbers you can see there is no number that divides into both of them (because 97 is prime, and is divisible only by itself and 1) however, if you learn "divisibility rules" see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divisibility_rule#Divisibility_rules_for_numbers_1.E2.80.9320 you can see 250 is divisible by 5 5*50 and 50 is divisible by 5 5*5*10 and 10 is also: 5*5*5*2 and 97 is not divisible by 2 or 5, so there is no number that divides into both
