OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which example best represents the adhesion, cohesion, and surface tension of water? a) Ice forming on the surface of water bodies in winters b) The ability of water to dissolve many substances c) Water droplets forming a bead-like shape over a glass table

OpenStudy (christian_10_):

What do you think that it is?

OpenStudy (alphabeta):

I would stick to C. The cohesion makes sure to hold the hydrogen bonds together (water attracts water), which also forms high surface tension (the reason why you get the bead-like shape). We see the adhesion properties of water in the way it adhere to the glass table.

OpenStudy (christian_10_):

That's what I would stick with too.
