We have a box with 8 balls numbered: 0,0,0,1,1,1,2,2 we pick three balls respectively, -what's the prospect that one of the balls atleast has the number 0 ? (Knowing that the balls are shapely mached and we can't see them while in the box)

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Hint: in either case, it's easier to calculate the probability of getting no "0" ball, and subtract from one to get the probability of getting at least one "0" ball.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

@Tarek.David Pick all three at the same time, or one at a time with replacement?

For you're question we pick up the ball, check out it's number and throw it away.
