Select all that apply. As the Civil War progressed badly for the North, what are three things that plagued Lincoln? The war was going to be over before his reelection bid. Union morale was eroding away with each passing day. He could not find a strong, suitable military leader. Northern forces could not find a way to defeat Lee. The North was running out of ways to finance the war.
Lee was outsmarting the northern generals, so definitely; He couldn't find a proper military leader thats' true, northern generals were bad early on. yeah union morale was low i think that makes sense. I dont think the north ran out of ways to finance the war because the north had most of the industrial capability. that would make more sense to the south where they had fewer factories. The south had far better generals.
