Question number 11 and 12, I just need to know the main point of it because I completely blind with this 2 figure

OpenStudy (danica518):

the proportion of the sides are kept like

OpenStudy (danica518):

9,15,18 and the other is 6,10,12 but 3/2*6,3/2*10,3/2*12 = 9,15,18 if u multiply all the sides by 3/2

OpenStudy (danica518):

the angles within the triangle are dependant on the ratio of the sides to one another, not the actual side length

OpenStudy (danica518):

so these 2 triangles will be similar

OpenStudy (ali2x2):

HEY HIGH FIVE IM ON KEYSTONE TOO :D

OpenStudy (ali2x2):

did you happen to take english 7th grade?

OpenStudy (danica518):

if you know the sin law or the cos law for example, u can show that the same 3 angles in the left triangle will exist in the right triangle

OpenStudy (danica518):

another way to show similiaright is to label the triangle and show same propotions exist
