A reaction uses up 20 grams of reactant at a rate of 0.50 grams/s. How much time will it take for all of the reactant to be used up? 0.50 s 20 s 40 s 80 s

OpenStudy (rushwr):

What do u think the answer is ?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Looking at the rate's unit. you can simply see that the rate here was calculated by dividing grams by seconds. \[Rate = \frac{ grams(reacted amount ) }{ seconds (time taken \to react) }\] so the answer would be 40 s
