pls help elaborate and explain this....
1. Man is a composite of body soul thus material and immaterial. Because man's materiality, the greek philosophers postulate that he is a microcosm of the world made of water, air, fire, etc. And because he is immaterial, man is also called a rational animal. 2. Man according to st. augustine and thomas aquinas is created by God and gifted with the will. man is not condemned to hell but can attain salvation as long as he believes in the grace and mercy of God.
