Which grade are u in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why does it matter?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1440006081087:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1440006207721:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area is the size of the shape or amount of space the shape covers A = lw Perimeter is the distance around the shape P = 2(l + w)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let l = 63 in and w = 39 in (or vice versa, it doesn't matter) and plug the numbers into the equations to find area and perimeter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@heretohelpalways

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area = length * width multiply the numbers to get the area Perimeter = 2*(length + width) Add the numbers then multiply by 2 to get the perimeter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the area is 2457?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the peremiter is 104? @peachpi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area is right. perimeter is 204

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about |dw:1440008975890:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@peachpi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we already did the perimeter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats why I crossed it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the other two questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I put the definitions of area and perimeter above. Which do you think matches those descriptions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

err.. honestly, I can't figure it out. I don't even know the first part of what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You don't have to do anything. this is reading. Perimeter is the distance around a shape, Area is the amount of space inside the shape. Which of your questions describes something around, and which describes an amount of space?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh. IK. ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the window is area and peremiter is the wire one
