ok... so the normal way to find horizontal or oblique is to 1. look at the degree of the numerator and denominator you have 2 degree 1 polynomials... so the horizontal asymptote is in the form y = a so in your question to find the asymptote simplying what do you multiply the denominator by to get 7x...?
