OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

EXAMPLE: 1. Violence 2. Love triangle 3. pretentious dystopian setting that makes no sense 4. Make a kid smarter and better than anyone around her/him 5. Stuff that sounds cool but stupid at the same time, like turning dead kids into giant rabid dogs 6. Protective older siblings. 7. Archery 8.

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

nope @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well.. have you read the book 'life of pi"?

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

reading it

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, look at the example given what you're really being asked is "what would you like to see in the book of pi, that makes it really enthralling?" and then list top ten of those features like say... for example, "what would I like in Pinnochio to be really captivating?" suspense, pinnochio becomes an axe murderer love, pinnochio falls in love with a wooden shovel intrigue, pinnochio dresses as a woman on weekends make the character compassionate, pinnochio donates his pencil collection and so on

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so, you're really more or less writing a "wishlist" to aspiring writers, what you'd like to see in the book

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

mystery love drama?

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

@jdoe0001

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

sure, notice your example it doesn't have to be one word could also be a sentence like ..... a wishlist for the "life of pi" say.... someone finds that the pi constant can be used make a better calendar or someone whose name is PIcard finds pi in the novel or pi has a clone, her name is ip, and added make piip or something

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

buti just want somhing like this EXAMPLE: 1. Violence 2. Love triangle 3. pretentious dystopian setting that makes no sense 4. Make a kid smarter and better than anyone around her/him 5. Stuff that sounds cool but stupid at the same time, like turning dead kids into giant rabid dogs 6. Protective older siblings. 7. Archery 8. but for the life of pi

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

sure, is the same thing, just a "wishlist" think about it this way what if you mom say, "well, I'm going to write a book, can you give me some ideas? I'll call it the life of pi" so... what ideas would you give her? same thing

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

but what i put like it 1. funny 2. sad 3. idk lol

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

funny and sad, sure, a bit broad, but sure

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

something tells me if Santa Claus shows up at your house's chimney and asks you for what you'd want, he'd leave you empty-handed =)

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

why?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well... santa would show up "so what's your wishlist nathan?" .... hmmm ...hmmm IDK.... hmm "hmm what nathan? .... I don't have that in the bag... sorry, ok Rudolph, let's dash then"

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

lol thanks for the help!?
