OpenStudy (cheddarskittles):

Show work? 5(p + 3) + 9=3(p - 2) +12

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

first distribute the 5 on the left, and the 3 on the right and then show me what you got.

OpenStudy (cheddarskittles):

I...Honestly I cant because I'm asking for a friend...

OpenStudy (cheddarskittles):

I told them I could get a quick response

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5(p+3)+9=3(p-2)+12 distribute all the ( ) first so what you do is 5*p and 5*3 you do the same on the other side as well 3*p and 3*-2 Remember that multiplying with a negative and a positive will make the answer a negative. after that you will add the remaining numbers then subtract the p on both sides and then divide the number with the p and you will get your result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if there is anything confusing you tell me so i can help more :)

OpenStudy (cheddarskittles):

Ok I'll tell them. thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :)
