OpenStudy (taylormarie213):

I have no idea what to do....

OpenStudy (taylormarie213):

I have to write a critique on these students and I don't know how to write it or what to write. It does not have to be long. The problem is down below:

OpenStudy (taylormarie213):

You are a field biologist working in the rain forests of Costa Rica. Your research team includes four graduate students and one undergraduate student. The undergraduate student has been unable to identify a recent specimen with certainty and may have stumbled upon a new animal species. You ask your graduate students to describe the characteristics of the animal group to assist in the identification of the creature as a new or already classified animal. You expect them to list several criteria which are associated only with animal life. In the allotted space, critique each students' response provided below. Student 1 - Animals are unicellular or multicellular prokaryotes that do not rely on other creatures for their nutritional needs. Student 2 - Animals are unicellular or multicellular eukaryotes that rely on other creatures for their nutritional needs. Student 3 - Animals are multicellular eukaryotes that do not rely on other creatures for their nutritional needs. Student 4 - Animals are multicellular eukaryotes that rely on other creatures for their nutritional needs.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

maybe they just want you to correct them? like multicellular prokaryotes? there is no such thing also, you can use more technical terms for "do not rely on other creatures for their nutritional needs"

OpenStudy (aaronq):

heterotrophs/autotrophs
