OpenStudy (jjwalton04):

i would but i gtg srry bud

OpenStudy (lucaz):

rewrite the fractions and simplify them. a)(-28u^8)/(16u^4) corresponds to (-28/16)*(u^8/u^4)= (-7/4)*(u^4)= (-7u^4)/4 same idea for the other fractions

OpenStudy (jcarangui1):

wouldn't a) be (-7u^2/4)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the exponents in part a) subtract 8-4 = 4 so the answer for part a) should be \[\Large -\frac{7}{4}u^4\] which is equivalent to \[\Large \frac{-7u^4}{4}\]
