Describe the ATP molecule and its function within a cell. can someone PLEASE HELP?

OpenStudy (nekoaisu):

ATP is Adenosine Tri Phosphate. it is essentially stored energy in a cell. It can be used to move parts of a cell like a protein-potassium pump or help something like a muscle cell contract to aid movement when the chemical bond is broken between the second and third phosphates in ATP. Here is what it looks like just ion case you may need it: http://bealbio.wikispaces.com/file/view/ATP02a.jpg/256591870/ATP02a.jpg Hope this was helpful!
