Latisha's friend Brandee forgot to take a make-up test and had these scores: 80%,92%,91%,75%,89,84%,0%,and 85%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. Calculate Brandees's mean. Does this mean score really represent her abilities? why or why not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 74.5%. No, because she consistently scores above 80%

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

There is nowhere near enough information to state that a single value represents a person's abilities. It is highly unlikely that it is so. Utterly silly question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Am I right ^-^?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

84.25% is the new mean, but do you round? I don't think so because it does not say that in the directions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh Um no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so u don't round :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c. What difference did the 0% score make? Does this new mean represent Brandee's ability more accurately?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
