What is the quotient written in scientific notation? 2*10^21/8*10^3 A 2.5*10^6 B 2.5*10^17 C 0.25*10^18 D 0.25*10^7
Give me one moment and I'll help you ^.^
Ok
I think its C but I'm not sure
The answer would end up being B. Because, you would actually divide the numbers and just subtract the exponents. You would only subtract the exponents when you're dividing though. But when you're say, multiplying, you'd add the exponents. Make sense?
yea can you help me with one more?
I don't see why not ^.^
What is the product written in scientific notation? (6.5*10^-7)(4*10^-17 A2.6*10^-12 B 2.6*10^-11 C 2.6*10^-10 D 2.6*10^28
I believe it is D, but I'm honestly not 100% on that one.
siri says its not D
Okay, well I'm sorry I don't know this one :c
thanks
\[(6.5\times10^{-7})(4\times10^{-17}\\ =(6.5\times4)\times10^{-7-17}\]
