Can anyone give me some freshman math advice like what math do I have to look out for and what math did you start with etc...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know If you are taking AP classes or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi! Are you doing normal freshman classes or are you in honors or AP or anything like that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because if you're taking normal math classes, you can expect to be doing Algebra 1. Algebra 1 is pretty difficult. I myself am a freshman, but I did Algebra 1 early, because I'm in all honors classes. So I can tell you as well.

I Graduated last year but was AP classes all four years....And yes AP classes are harder but do your best youll make it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, I'm starting in the IB program so its all AP and honors.

That's Good :) keep up it up

Thanks ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sent you a question ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cupcake I don't get this problem here it says evaluate their expression ik you have to use pemdas but there is no parentheses. Problem: Evaluate -5u for u = -4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, this one is easy. They give you the value of u, it is -4. So essentially all you have to do is: \[-5*-4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it says for that means multiply?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes multiply -5 times -4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so there's this problem similar to the one I just asked but it has and I'll show it. q - v for q = 5 and v = 1 Is this how to do it? v • 5 • 1 or does the and mean add?
