2345 Elm Street Denver, 80027 January 15, 2003 Yolanda Stone Hiring Manager Natural Resources Museum P.O. Box 345678 Denver, CO 81092 Dear Ms. Stone: Please consider my application for the summer tour guide position advertised in the January 12 issue of the Denver Post. I have visited the Natural Resources Museum countless times over the years, and I would welcome the opportunity to teach others about its many excellent and important exhibits. I first visited the Natural Resources Museum when I was just a little child, and I was instantly fascinated by its array of hands-on activities. I immersed myself in playing Logmobile and the “Stop Pollution” game, which led to my love of science. I am convinced that, if given the opportunity, I could help children appreciate the value of conservation. Enclosed you will find my resume and two letters of recommendation. Thank you for your consideration and attention to my application. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Mr. Jason Johnson
