Do you know how to find percents?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you spend 49.99 at a store, and you use a 20% off coupon, to find how much of 49.99 got taken off by your 20% coupon all you do is multiply 49.99 by the decimal of the percent. so 49.99 (what it costs) X or * 0.20 (20%)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, if you do that multiplication you get 9.98 dollars off. So all you have to do to find a percent of something is to multiply the total amount of money or numbers or anything by the percent in decimal format so 90% is 0.90 84% is 0.84 get it?

so in your case

2,738.00 * 0.28 = T T * 0.12 = M M = your answer
