Introduction-

SeaWorld located in Orlando, Florida is a theme park, and marine-life based zoological park. It is owned and operated by SeaWorld Entertainment. Since the first day SeaWorld opened in 1964, it has had great success and loved by all people especially families. This has since changed, as three incidents happened. The first incident was on February 20th, 1991 when Tilikum and two other killer whales, Haida II and Nootka IV killed 20-year-old Keltie Byrne at SeaLand. Tilikum was also involved in two other killings at SeaWorld in July 7, 1999, a 27-year-old man named Daniel P. Dukes and February 24, 2010, Tilikum was involved in a third incident when he killed Dawn Brancheau, a 40-year-old trainer. After the first incident happened it began to give people that extra push to investigate what is actually going on with the orcas at SeaWorld, and caused a few to get together and create Blackfish. The movie Blackfish is a documentary that came out in 2013 and it has shed some light on the subject of SeaWorlds killer whales. And opens many eyes to the truth of what these creatures are going through.
