Write essays that reflect who you are; use specific concrete details and write in a natural style....i.e.. The essay part  is important because it gives us more insight into who you are and who you want to be. So make your writing memorable! @Jazzyjose8

The teachers who rip your paper apart and find a million things wrong are the teachers who believe in you the most. Don't be offended. A teacher who marks your paper with a thousand red lines isn't saying this is bad, its saying I know you have the potential to do better.

For one thing, get it done early. Do not wait, it will only hurt you. When writing an essay, go back and look at previous essays and what suggestions your teacher made. Take every word of advice and put it in your new paper. The only way to improve is to learn from your mistakes. :)
