how many days will the heat be turned off for? 14 days?
this is a proportion problem they have only to heat 20-5 = 15 rooms so total days they can heat for = ( 20/15) * 14 Round the answer down to get the number of FULL days. subtract 14 from this to get number of extra full days.
i dont get it
why multiply 20 times 14
