Well, you could look up the title and it should come up. You can eliminate two people immediately, Thomas Jefferson and MLK. If you know some of your philosophers, John Locke was the guy behind the social contract (I think it's when the people consent to their government and that the government protects their rights. If the government doesn't, the people can overthrow their government).
So your only option left is Thoreau. He was a transcendentalist, someone who believed in being out in nature and just getting away from society.
