JUST NEED PART B!!!!!!!!
The graph below shows a company's profit f(x), in dollars, depending on the price of erasers x, in dollars, being sold by the company: graph of quadratic function f of x having x intercepts at ordered pairs 0, 0 and 8, 0. The vertex is at 4, 270 Part A: What do the x-intercepts and maximum value of the graph represent? What are the intervals where the function is increasing and decreasing, and what do they represent about the sale and profit? (6 points) Part B: What is an approximate average rate of change of the graph from x = 1 to x = 4, and what does this rate represent? (4 points)
can you post a picture of the graph by chance?
@enchanted_bubbles do you have a picture or a screen shot of the graph?
Yes let me get it..
sorry about the delay: (1,120) (4,270) Slope = 270-120/4-1 150/3 slope = 50 Not sure what i means though. Hope this helps anyways.
