Can someone check my answer?

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

A hot air balloon holds 1,592 cubic meters of helium. The density of helium is 0.1785 kilograms per cubic meter. How many kilograms of helium does the balloon contain, rounded to the nearest tenth of a kilogram?

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

My answer is 284.2 kg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, density is mass over volume, so if you divide 284.2 kg by 1592 m^3, do you get 0.1785?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't have a calculator on me :o

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

Yes

Then you've got the right answer :)

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

thanks!!
