2.write a word or phrase for the algebraic expression 3X -7.. well, obviously you will use the words three and seven. Now, remember to say three times x or the product of three and x, not just three x. You might also put the seven out front, as in "seven is subtracted from the product of...."
Other verbak stops can be done with things like has or after, After multiplying x and y, subtract z. The product of x and y has x subtracted from it.
